EIR-OPS-039: WBC Monitor Transition to Commissioning Mode
Objective
To facilitate the Operator in reporting the anomaly and returning to nominal operations after a transition to Commissioning Mode due to the WBC Monitor being triggered.
Introduction
This procedure will guide the Operator through steps to report that an event triggered the WBC Monitor to exit WBC Mode and transition to Commissioning Mode.
Procedure
This procedure contains a number of sub-procedures.
Note
A communication window is required for sub-procedures B and C.
A. Raising the Alarm
A.1.
Ensure the WBC Engineer and Systems Team have been alerted that the WBC Monitor was triggered and that the S/C transitioned from WBC Mode to Commissioning Mode.
Warning
NO FURTHER WBC EXPERIMENTS SHOULD BE PERFORMED until instructed by the WBC Engineer, regardless of being scheduled in upcoming pass plans. The subsequent passes should prioritise downlinking the WBC data and returning to nominal operations. Section C to return to nominal operations can be commenced while Section B of downlinking the WBC data is on-going.
B. Data Downlink
B.1.
Downlink WBC data as per EIR-OPS-011: Downlink Data From Storage.
Note
Depending on when the WBC Monitor was triggered, the Operator can choose to downlink newest or oldest data first.
C. Return to Nominal Operations
C.1.
The operator should resume nominal operations according to EIR-OPS-012: Set Up Nominal Operations.
Tip
This can be done while WBC data is being downlinked and the reason for the WBC Monitor being triggered is investigated.
Important
WBC Mode should NOT be re-entered until the issue leading to this triggered WBC Mode exit has been identified and resolved.
